Dr.Arivalan Ramaiyah [B.Econs (Hons) (UUM), MBA (UK), DBA (Philippines), PhD (USM)] he has conducted trainings to more than 15,000 participants with approximately more than 400 companies from Malaysia and abroad. He is a Member of John Maxwell’s Team, USA, a Certified NLP Trainer (ABNLP, USA), a Certified Master Practitioner in Hypnotherapy (IACT, USA), a Certified Time Line Therapy Trainer (Time Line Therapy Association, USA) and Certified NLP Master Coach Trainer (ABNLP, USA). Dr.Arivalan has developed and conducted rainings in a wide range of subjects, which include Negotiation and Purchasing Skills, Change Management, NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Course, Performance Management, Effective Leadership Strategies, Problem Solving and Decisions Making, Management, Expert Communication Skills and Influencing Skills using NLP, Team and Conflict Management, Train the Trainer. Apart from training, he is also active in consultancy works in the area of marketing and management with various government and non-governmental bodies. The consultancy areas, includes marketing research, change management, feasibility studies on the viability of business projects, socio-economy impact, training need analysis and measurement of service quality by using SERVQUAL or SERVPERF instrument. Driven by his mission in life, Dr Arivalan embarked on a profession as a marketer, lecturer, trainer and consultant. He has travelled to many Asia Pacific Regions in pursued to develop network and partnership with various institutions and customer groups during his previous employment. He has successfully secured contract with many reputable institutions and organizations from UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, India, Indonesia, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Previously, he held high profile positions and also as a lecturer at Curtin University of Technology, an Assistant Professor at Quest International University, a Senior Programme Manager at Hewlett Packard, Cyberjaya, a Director of Marketing at AIMST University and a Principal and Dean in an established private college in Malaysia. Dr.Arivalan’s earlier experience at a senior management level, international exposure coupled with his academic qualifications had helped him to develop his extensive knowledge in service quality, international marketing, customer networking and prospecting, sales, negotiation skills and leadership thus enabling him to become a high profile trainer.
Dr Quah, Hock Soon [BAppSc (1st Class Hons) (USM), MBA (USM), PhD (UUM)] completed his Doctorate in Philosophy in Technology Management specializing operations and supply chain management from Northern University of Malaysia. He received his MBA and received his first class honor in Applied Science from Malaysia Science University. He has also industry certified project management professional and supply chain professional accreditation. Academically, he has authored few research papers in International Journal in manufacturing- supply chain and also presented in International Conferences. Dr Quah has acquired good balance between academic and industry experience. Having worked more than 20 years in Multinational companies, he has in-depth experience in organisational development, shaping strategic direction, managing organisations/team operations in complex-high electrical and electronic manufacturing, supply chain management and regional logistic network for various Intel’s new generation product introduction and ramp plan across worldwide network. Being a qualified professional project manager (PMP, Agile) and certified supply chain practitioner (CSCP), Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSB ASQ), he has perform consulting for small medium industry in subject matters on production planning and quality management. He has taught subjects on international business strategies, supply chain management, organisational behaviors, leadership, decision sciences, operations management at post graduate and undergraduate level. He has also developed a keen passion to nurture students’ project management skill by supervising master students dissertations both in empirical and case study context.

Dr. T. Brahmananthan [BEcons (Hons) (UUM), MSc (UPM) and PhD (UTM)] is currently a General Manager with the Transformation, Strategy and Project Management Office of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He has more than 23 years working experience in the corporate world coupled with 15 years in the academic line. Dr. Brahma has a mixed experience serving the government as well as the private sector making his experience unique and sought after as a specialist in project implementation. His first stint was with Bank Negara Malaysia in the Economics Department formulating financial policies for the betterment of the economy. During that time, he was seconded to the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office to assist in the 8th Malaysia Plan formulation. With his wealth of experience in economic planning and policy formulation, he was requested to become the Head of Strategy and Project Management Office at the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) that was newly formed under the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism. During his work there, he successfully developed the CCM’s Strategic Direction Plan I and II with numerous big impact projects that elevated the corporate governance and service delivery of the commission to the general business community and the public. With the implementation of the CCM’s Strategic Direction Plan, the commission has been recognized by the World Bank to be on par with other advanced country corporate registrar in terms of service delivery. He has also worked in the private sector taking Masterskill Education Group Berhad (MEGB) to be public listed. It was the largest public listed exercise for an educational entity in the Asia Pacific by the value of the capital market upon listing. At MEGB he was in charge of the investor relations portfolio and business development department. During his work there, he successfully created the franchise programme for the educational courses in Masterkill University and the established of the private school venture. Currently he is working with Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) leading, guiding and coaching for the implementation of the business turnaround plan to ensure the sustainability of the national airline.
Dr Raja Adzrin Raja Ahmad [B.A.(Hons) Accounting & Finance (UK), MA Accountancy (UiTM), CIMA (UK), Ph.D (Aust)] is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Accountancy, UiTM , Johor. The Perak-born academician has been an educator since the year 2003. She was granted a PhD scholarship by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia in 2008. Prior to that, she has been with Arthur Andersen & Co as a staff in the tax division. She has also lectured at Curtin University during her stay in Australia. She taught various accounting courses including costing, management accounting, financial management, financial reporting and business research methodology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Besides academic responsibilities, she has also held several administrative positions such as Head of the Study Centre, Chairperson for the Anchor Campus and Deputy Rector for Research, Industrial Linkages & Alumni. She was awarded the Excellence Service Award in 2012 and 2017 by UiTM. She was also granted with the Academic Leadership Award in 2018 by UiTM to acknowledge her outstanding contributions. Her research and scholarly efforts include corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, social disclosure, corporate governance, management accounting, and financial accounting & reporting. She won the best paper award from Curtin University for her PhD work in corporate philanthropy.

Dr. Logaiswari Indiran graduated from University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in 1999. She earned a Master of Education (Technical and Vocational) in 2002 and PhD (Management) from University Technology Malaysia (UTM) in 2018. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer at Azman Hashim International Business School, UTM, Skudai. Previously she was the Head of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization Unit at Polytechnic METRO Johor Bahru. Her area of research and interest are entrepreneurship, intellectual capital, business incubators, and Business Model Canvas (BMC). Her passion and enthusiasm in entrepreneurship & innovation is shown in her lifelong achievements. She has won Expriex BMC ASEAN 2016, finalist in International BMC (IBMC) 2016 in United States, Gold Award in International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada, iCAN 2016, finalist in Sasin Business Plan Competition Bangkok, 2018, and Gold Award in Innovation Product Launching and Entrepreneurship Competition (INNOPLEN2019). Dr. Logais is also Certified Trainer, Alibaba Certified Global E-Commerce Talent Lecturer, involved in International Training Programme on Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation through Incubation at India for 6 weeks in 2017, and has Professional Certificate on Entrepreneurial Education@3EP (Entrepreneurship Educators Enhancement). Recently, she is collaborating with UTM and UM on various fundamental and applied science grand. She won Merit Thesis Award, Certificate of Excellence for PhD Thesis, Best Student Award PhD Management Category, MTDC Innovation Book Prize Award for her PhD work. Besides, she won best paper awards in few conference include the latest at International Conference On Emerging Trends in Engineering, Science & Technical Education (ICETESTE 19) in 2019. Her patience on innovation has led her to be a great mentor for start-ups. Besides, she is now writing about entrepreneurship, innovation capability and intellectual capital in Malaysia.

Dr. Lum Li Sean

Dr. Lum Li Sean holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (an AACSB accredited university). She also holds a Master of Business Administration (with a specialization in Marketing) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Hons) from UUM. Her area of research in her doctoral studies was in the area of consumer lawfulness, morality and ethical consideration in relation to counterfeit product purchase among young consumers in Malaysia.
Currently, Dr Lum is a full-time senior lecturer and Head of School at DISTED College. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Wawasan Open University (WOU). She has more than ten years of teaching experience, handling both undergraduate and graduate courses including conducting classes for working adults. At the same time, she has supervised more than 25 students at master’s degree level and currently supervising doctoral students. Well-versed with program validation and audits, she has also vast experiences in handling franchise programs. Dr Lum is also actively pursuing her research in the areas of vulnerable women entrepreneurs in the informal sector of economy, collaborating with other academician on a Long-term Research Grant Scheme (LRGS) from the Ministry of Higher Education. Her doctoral research has been presented in international conferences and published in SCOPUS-indexed journal.

Prior to joining the academia, she holds the position of operations head and branch head in an international logistics firm. Her industry experiences spanned over a decade. Dr Lum is a certified European Senior Logistician from the European Certification Board for Logistics having passed the Professional Standard of European Senior Logistician’s assessments and a holds a Professional Certificate in Talent Management.
