Dr  Anbalagan Krishnan, after graduating from New Zealand, worked in a private firm as an administrator cum cost accountant. He is currently working Associate  Professor of Accounting at Wawasan Open University Malaysia. Previously, he has worked for several years with Curtin University, Malaysia as an Associate Professor and  Director of Academic Quality.   He was a Dean and Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at Asia Metropolitan University, Malaysia.  He is a member of CPA (Australia) and MICPA (Malaysia) and has PhD in Accounting. He is a Certified Trainer with the Ministry of Human Resource Malaysia and conducts Negotiation training for oil and gas company such as PETRONAS and other corporate companies such as Sarawak Energy, Bintulu Development Authorities, etc. He has vast industry and teaching experience in accounting and managerial accounting units ranging from professional courses to university degree programs. He associated with several esteemed national universities like University Technology Petronas, Manipal International University and Xiamen University. He obtained the “Student Choice Award” from Curtin University Student Council and voted as “The most Dedicated Lecturer in Curtin” during “Friendship Week” organized by Curtin Students. He presented several research papers in accounting at reputable international conferences organized in countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Australia and Malaysia. He has published extensively in accredited international journals. He received several national grants, international and industrial grants. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Balakrishnan Muniapan [B.Econs (UKM), CIWT (AUST), MSc in HRM (Portsmouth, UK), DBA (Philippines)] is a specialist in HRM. He was conferred the “Best Professor in  HRM” awards at the World Education Congress, Asia’s Education Excellence 2014 (Singapore) and at the World HRD Congress 2017 (Mumbai). He has also been a Visiting Professor in HRM and an external examiner for DBA/PhD thesis for universities within Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa. In academia, Dr Bala has published over eighty articles in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. As a HRM speaker, Dr Bala is frequently honored as an invited speaker at conferences and delivered talks in numerous countries within Asia, the Middle East, Australia, South Pacific, Africa, USA and Europe. Dr Bala is a PSMB (Malaysia) Certified Trainer (Exemption No: EMP/0899), an Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) Certified Workplace Trainer (Level IV), a Certified Practitioner of NLP from ABNLP, USA, a Certified NLP Coach (ABNLP), and a Certified Trainer, Speaker and Coach with the John Maxwell Team (USA). As a HRM trainer and consultant, Dr Bala has vast experience in conducting training and consultancy programmes in HRM areas related such as Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Misconduct and Domestic Inquiry Procedures, Employment Terminations, Leadership Development, and on Valmiki Ramayana and Vyasa Mahabharata for management development. He has contributed tremendously towards HRM effectiveness for hundreds of organisations within Malaysia and abroad. Dr Bala’s trainings are interactive, thought provoking, engaging and with practical insights, that helps to transform participant’s strategic and critical thinking skills. Dewi A. Sapuan is a Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour and an experienced qualitative researcher. She holds a Ph. D. in Management (2008) from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, a Master of Business Administration (2003) from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, specialising in Facilities Management and Environmental Economics, conducted by the School of Built Environment, University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Before joining WOU, Dewi was a Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Business at Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (1999 – 2019), and has held several administrative positions throughout the two decades, including Director of Bureau for Excellence in Research and Teaching (2011 – 2015). Prior to becoming an academic, Dewi worked in Fleet Services at the Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad after completing a shipping management programme at the Malaysia Maritime Academy. Dewi’s primary research concerns the paradox of human experience, with regard to relations between human performance and emotional labour in the workplace. She has published on learning and teaching in higher education, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, and employee traits and leadership. She has received several awards for teaching and leadership, including the Best Professor for Organisational Behaviour at the 2019 10th Asia Education Excellence Awards; Women Leadership Award, 2014 World Women Leadership Congress; Best Professor in Management Award, 2012 World Education Congress, as well as for Outstanding Contribution (Research & Publication), in 2005 from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak. Dewi is a member of American Psychological Association (APA), an Exco member of Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia, and was an Advisory Council member (2020-2021) of Insights in Color (IIC) USA, a community for multicultural market research, and insights professionals.

Dr. Alexandra Kang, Ph.D. (USM, MAL), MBA (USM, MAL), ICSA (CGI, UK), ACIS (MAICSA, MAL), (CS), (CGP), is an associate member of Chartered Governance Institute (UK) and Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (Malaysia) carrying dual qualifications with the designation of Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional. She was granted a scholarship (MyBrain15) by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to complete her Doctor of Philosophy at USM. In professional practice, she was the company secretary in the secretarial division of Deloitte (a member firm of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, UK) for many years advising publicly listed issuers and private companies. In research, her main interest involves areas of sustainability, ESG, CSR, and corporate governance. Her current project is demand-responsive transport under the MOHE’s Fundamental Research Grant Scheme for flexibility of sustainable urban transport in the state of Penang, with a focus on the prediction of commuters’ behavior using the variance-based structural equation modeling technique of partial least squares (PLS-SEM). Dr. Kang has published mostly in the Q1, ISI, and Scopus-indexed journals in sustainability and transportation categories. As an academic, she taught diverse courses in the disciplines of management and administration with a special interest in CSR, sustainability, and corporate governance.

Dr Ambrose Anak Dango [BAcc (UiTM), CMBA (UNIMAS), PhD (UiTM)] was a Director of Internal Audit Department, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Director of the National Audit Department Malaysia, the Deputy Director of Internal Audit, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Health and was the Deputy Director of National Audit Academy, Malaysia in charge of Academic and International Division. He led the team to develop the MyPerformance for all officers and staff of the National Audit Department. Dr Ambrose Anak Dango, as the first Dayak Bidayuh to reach this senior level position in the National Audit Department, Malaysia was an memorable historical milestone. He has more than 31 years of auditing experiences for State and Federal Government Accounts, Agencies and Local Authorities Financial Statements, Performance and Management Audit on Government Programs and Activities, Governance and Government Link Companies and Special/Surprise Audit. His first degree in Accountancy was from University Technology Mara in Shah Alam, Selangor. He worked with Maybank Finance Berhad for three years prior to joining the government service in 1991. In 1992, he joined the Malaysian Institute of Accountant as a Chartered Accountant. He then went on to do his master degree in Corporate Business Administration with University Malaysia Sarawak in 2003. He attended the Performance Audit course in 2002 in Lahore & Islamabad Pakistan. In 2006, he attended the Internal Auditing Course with RIPA International London, United Kingdom and was awarded the Excellence Service Award in 2006 by the Ministry of Health. The Governor of Sarawak awarded to him the Meritorious Service Medal in 2012 and he received the Excellence Academic Award from University Technology Mara in 2015. In 2018, he attended the Private & Public Sector Partnership course in Bangkok Thailand. He is also lecturing part – time in various universities on Company Accounts and Reporting, Auditing and Assurance Services, Advanced Financial Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting, Monetary Policies, Business Research Methodology, Project Papers and Advanced Managerial Accounting and Decision Making, Risk & Crisis Management, Legal Issues & Contract Management at Diploma, Degree, Master, Doctorial and PhD level. He was the Treasurer of Bidayuh Graduate Association and EXCO Member of Sarawak Dayak Graduate Association. Currently, he is the Deputy President of Organization for Addiction, Prevention, Treatment & Rehabilitation Sarawak.   He is one of the most sought after Motivational Speaker for students, teachers and parents on Academic Performance Beyond Excellence. He also spoke at International Conference organized by Marcus Evans Conferences. His first book was on “The Bidayuh Participation in Business in 2003” and he has contributed articles regularly for the Public Sector Journal since 2014. His second book entitled “Best Practices of Governance in State Statutory Bodies in Sarawak” was published by UNIMAS Publisher in 2018 (3rd Printing). He represented Malaysia at the World EXPO 2020 DUBAI, UAE in 2021.

Dr. Kan Wen Huey (CC)

Dr Kan Wen Huey [B. Science and Education (Hons) (UM), MBA (USM), DBA (USM)] completed as Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in University Science Malaysia, 2020. She has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from University Science Malaysia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science Education (Hons) from University Malaya. She also a programme lead cum lecturer in Wawasan Open University, Penang for Logistics and Supply Chain Management cluster as well. In academically, she had participant in the international conferences and be keynote speaker in seminar or public talk regarding the real-world situation since 2018. Having worked more than 10 years of Production, Planning, Project and Consultancy experience, which she has while serving a multi-national organization under the capacity as a Project Manager. As one of the key persons started as pioneer group in production set up (include machine preparation, process trial run, staff recruiting and production training) with hand on experience. Provided train and lead the team on supervise those direct labors to fulfill production key KPIs, inventory control, material handling, process yield improvement plan, reduce in-process scrap, manpower arrangement and productivity improvement activities. In the same time, she able designs the project according to specific scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. But not least, she guides and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress to ensure the project running smoothly.
